Derek Yu is a Principal Consultant in Cybersecurity at Zühlke with extensive cybersecurity engineering and consulting experience in various sectors, including health, industry, and finance. 

His core mandates include technical security architecture design, public-key infrastructures, security assessments, IoT, wireless security, cloud security, security risk assessment, and product security coaching. Derek understands best practices and standards related to security and privacy, such as IEC 62443, FDA regulations, GDPR, and FINMA. He often supports clients in achieving compliance in a timely and effective way.

 Derek spent years in academic research and developed an interest in teaching while serving as a teaching assistant for logic circuit design and programming. He enjoys working with an engaging crowd and challenging classroom theory in real-world scenarios.
