In a world where almost all physical data can be measured, myflow set out to make mental performance measurable as well. The idea: to objectively assess a person’s mental state via the pupil. Together with Zühlke, myflow achieved a successful market entry in record time – with significant potential to scale into new markets and target groups.

Zühlke complemented myflow’s scientific foundation with product development, UX and engineering expertise, enabling a market-ready launch within just a few weeks.
A seamlessly integrated team reduced coordination effort, increased speed and ensured a stable, scalable technical solution.
The joint development resulted in a product with strong scaling potential for new markets and user groups.
For its initial market entry, myflow focuses on professional athletes. In high-performance sport, a single moment can determine success or failure, as it does for Swiss pole vaulter Pascale Stöcklin, one of the first users of myflow.
“As a pole vaulter, everything comes down to the perfect jump, that one moment when I’m alone with myself and the pole on the runway. To succeed there requires extreme mental focus,” says the Olympian and World Championship competitor.
This is exactly where myflow comes in. The technology allows athletes, for the first time, to objectively measure their mental activation state and to activate or relax themselves within seconds, enabling them to deliver peak performance precisely when needed.
Ahead of market entry, MindMetrix, the start-up behind myflow, faced a major challenge: interest in the product was already high, creating intense time pressure. A market-ready product had to be delivered within just a few weeks.
myflow already had a strong foundation: research, data and a functioning algorithm. The scientific expertise was there. What was missing was a partner to translate this foundation into a market-ready product.
Zühlke brought exactly these capabilities to the table, forming a complete, interdisciplinary team together with MindMetrix. Thanks to their deep understanding of both technology and product development, both partners were able to move straight into implementation without delay.
“Zühlke were an enormous help because they immediately understood the problem and supported us in getting the product into the hands of athletes within weeks.” “Zühlke were an enormous help because they immediately understood the problem and supported us in getting the product into the hands of athletes within weeks.”
Close collaboration on an equal footing proved critical – especially in a start-up environment where budgets, resources and time are limited. By focusing on fast decision-making, an iterative approach and uncompromising product quality, the team was able to deliver a robust, scalable and market-ready solution in a very short space of time.
myflow makes mental activation visible – an area that has so far been difficult to measure objectively. By analysing pupil response, the brain’s activation state is determined in real time, giving athletes immediate feedback to support mental self-regulation.
Within just a few weeks, a fully functional product was developed, combining precise pupil measurement with an intuitive user interface and a reliable feedback system. The solution captures cognitive activation in real time and translates it into clear recommendations for activation or relaxation – delivered directly to users’ smartphones.
Together with Zühlke, myflow was able to realise its vision in record time and launch a product that helps athletes consciously control their mental performance exactly when it matters most.
Beyond professional sport, the underlying technology behind myflow offers significant market potential: from medical diagnostics and mental health management to stress regulation in the workplace.
