With lots of great ideas but not much time, Zühlke helped start-up VAHA implement their ideas and delight their customers.

Fitness mirror as a premium product

With its smart, interactive fitness mirror, start-up VAHA had set itself the goal of revolutionising personal training. But the company lacked experience in industrialising hardware products. With the optimum launch date just four months away, they turned to Zühlke to provide it. Despite the time pressure, the quality of their premium product needed to be perfect. 

Detailed requirements engineering

Zühlke started out by verifying the hardware requirements, with a clear focus on the approval process. This was followed by detailed hardware analysis and optimisation. The results from the requirements engineering process were used to ensure that the Romanian and Chinese manufacturers were able to achieve the right quality and timing. Zühlke’s office in nearby Hong Kong ensured efficiency and flexibility. To ensure the end product was both robust and scalable, Zühlke also took responsibility for software quality assurance. 

Widespread media coverage

The joint project was a complete success. The first approved VAHA fitness mirrors are due to be delivered in January and are attracting widespread media coverage. Zühlke and VAHA are continuing their partnership, and Zühlke will continue to support them with quality control.
