How you will spend your time

As a Key Account Manager, your primary role will involve strategically acquiring and maintaining relationships with key companies in industries such as postal services, logistics, passenger transport, freight transport, railroad station, and infrastructure services. Your goal is to grow our customer base by nurturing existing relationships and securing new clients over time. In addition to providing ongoing support to high-potential customers, you will also collaborate with teams managing accounts in these sectors to ensure their success. 
  • Explore - You lead the team in conducting in-depth exploration of our clients' needs and challenges. By fostering a shared understanding of the company, its structure, current situation, strategies, goals, and ecosystem, you are able to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Connect – You oversee the establishment and nurturing of strong relationships with key stakeholders to better comprehend their unique needs and provide valuable insights. Utilizing these connections, you gather information and identify potential opportunities for growth. 
  • Inspire – Leveraging your knowledge of market trends and innovations, you add significant value to our discussions, inspire clients, and pique their interest in our offerings. By sharing your expertise and involving specialized experts as needed, you position Zühlke as a trusted advisor. 
  • Support – As a dependable presence throughout the consulting process, you guide our clients from initial discussions to proposal preparation and successful project completion. You engage Zühlke stakeholders efficiently to ensure a seamless and effective collaboration.

  • Proficient in market analysis: you understand the needs and obstacles faced by logistics and rail companies. 
  • Technologically savvy: a keen interest in technological advancements and implementation in logistics, rail transport, and infrastructure. 
  • Skilled in complex sales: experienced in selling intricate services within the consulting-heavy ICT sector. 
  • Bilingual proficiency: fluent in German and English. 
  • Educational background: holds a university degree in technology or its equivalent.
