New and innovative development projects are subject to rapidly increasing requirements for flexibility, speed and security. Models of collaboration with 3rd-party experts and stakeholders often prove to be challenging. A new future-oriented and flexible development environment based on public cloud technology can harmonise these processes in their entirety.
Zühlke’s cloud specialists are supporting Raiffeisen Switzerland in designing and implementing the new dev-environment. Security is proving to be an issue of particular salience as the environment is to be operated in the public cloud and integrated with on-premise systems. The cloud dev-environment is designed to allow quick and easy self-service usage of a defined set of cloud services by external specialists and stakeholders.
Thanks to the new cloud dev-environment, Raiffeisen Switzerland can significantly accelerate time-to-market for new services and applications. The self-service approach and the high degree of automation increase flexibility and facilitate access to IT resources. Furthermore, onboarding and offboarding during development is now fully automated. In total, over 100 projects are successfully being migrated to the new public cloud dev-environment. With this, Raiffeisen Switzerland is marking an important milestone on the journey into the cloud.
