Taking the next step in its expansion, the Zuhlke Group announced the opening of a new site in Edinburgh, bringing its network up to 17 offices across 10 countries. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our People team as a Regional Head of People & Culture, reporting to the Group Chief People Officer, Zuhlke Group. Based in Singapore or Hong Kong, and you will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational management of People & Culture initiatives and tasks. In this role you will be a key business partner to the senior leadership team in APAC. You will also have a focus in ensuring that the Employer Branding in Zuhlke APAC work successfully and aligned with Global Direction. You will also work closely with the larger global People & Culture team and contribute significantly to both the global and local People strategy.
As a Regional Head of People & Culture you excel in coaching, you enjoy in both providing guidance and taking action to drive progress. You have developed great leadership skills and are able to empower your team members because, at your core, you are a team player and love to see others grow.
Your Role
  • Full responsibility for the development and implementation of the regional P&C strategy in line with the group P&C strategy.
  • Strategic thinking and strong business acumen to pro-actively drive further development of Zuhlke APAC and acts as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership team.
  • Design and project manage a wide range of P&C projects covering the entire P&C spectrum.
  • Pose as an interface between business, employees and P&C and the point of contact for all strategic P&C topics, especially for the Senior Leadership team.
  • Ensure regular coaching, mentoring, and supporting senior and high potential colleagues to identify individ-ual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage reten-tion.
  • Ensure business continuity by establishing succession planning of key talents.
  • Drive P&C digitization and innovation and introduce best practices that make Zuhlke APAC one of the most attractive employers.
  • Strong business understanding and mindset, willingness to actively shape and further develop the company.
  • Actively supports internationalization, global integration, and the transformation of the Zühlke Group into a global company.
  • Execute a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy and commitments.

What You Bring with You
  • You hold a university degree in human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or in a comparable subject. 
  • You have an attitude of continuous learning and are regularly taking personal initiative to further develop your skills. 
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in a senior capacity within the field of People & Culture, ideally having had experience in areas such as P&C business partnering, People operations, Recruitment and Leadership Coaching. 
  • You have worked in a regional capacity having assumed responsibility that spans across a few locations in APAC. 
  • You are highly experienced P&C generalist with experience in P&C strategy as well as operations. 
  • You have at least 7 years’ experience managing and leading a team and able to provide strong leadership and engage your team to achieve ambitious goals. 
  • You have professional experience in the technology industry or a similar fast-paced, progressive, ever-changing industry. 
  • You have current, profound, and broad P&C know-how and implementation of state-of-the-art best practices in a dynamic environment and, out-of-the-box thinking. 
  • You have strong stakeholder management, integrating personality paired with assertiveness and creative drive. · You have proven experience in the successful implementation of transformation, integration, and change processes. 
  • You take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organisational culture, ensuring that the company values and approach are displayed. 
  • You have a proven record in building up employer branding and presence in new markets. You are also strong in handling ambiguity and enjoy being creative in how to solve new challenges. 
  • You have a strategic mindset and are very comfortable working with data and uses data to drive and influence decisions. 
  • You are exceptional in your ability to quickly develop strong, trusted relationships. You are highly skilled in adapting your communication style and you are strong at working with a diverse range of individuals. 
  • You are a value driven, solution-oriented, persuasive, and down-to-earth personality with a positive attitude.
