Senior/Lead Linux Embedded Engineer

We are working in fields of Medical, Industrial, Railway and consumer IoT. We develop solutions on various platforms and ecosystems. 

Your Role:

• In our client projects you take responsibility in the architecture and design of embedded Linux systems.
• You develop and maintain embedded Linux BSPs and system services.
• You are in close collaboration with electronics engineers, software engineers and other stakeholders in the project.
• You consult our clients on their journey with embedded Linux systems
• You identify project weak points and propose changes to improve project quality and de-livery 
• You participate in requirements elicitation process and initial project setup 
• You anticipate all potential technology risks or changes and work proactively to mitigate consequences on existing architecture and solutions 
• You mentor and coach other colleagues  
• You are able to participate and support teams on several projects in terms of reviewing and developing high complex solutions 

 Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• 7 years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer
• First proven experience in Software and Systems Architecture
• Extensive know-how in embedded Linux systems, related build systems and Linux system configuration
• Experience in working with open-source communities.
• Yocto, buildroot, package management, CMake, git belong to your standard toolset.
• Expertise in bootloader, Linux kernel coding and working with industry standard interfac-es and protocols is an advantage.
• Fluency in C and C++, experience with Rust is a plus.
• Knowledge in working with containers and setting up reliable and efficient CI/CD tool-chains is a plus.
• Proficiency in English
