Schlieren
From September 1 to October 5, Switzerland’s largest AI collaboration brings 160+ events to 24 cities and online, anchored by a new open-source Swiss LLM and a strong focus on transparent, responsible AI. Backed by EPFL/ETH AI Centers and major partners, the program moves AI from labs into everyday practice. Zühlke is official local Partner for the Hackathon happening during two days in Zurich and will complement the activities with the event "AI in real-life software projects: coding and development" in its Zurich office.
AI is changing how we design, build and run software. But how do you go beyond the buzz and make it work in practice in your everyday life? In this session, we’ll explore real-world ways engineers can apply AI: coding faster, automating routine tasks, and asking the right questions about trust and value. We'll show both worlds: how to better develop software with AI, and how to include AI in the final software product. Expect hands-on insights, open discussion and practical takeaways you can use in your own work.
Dr. Gabriel Krummenacher, Director Data Science, will share his expertise about agentic AI.
How do AI agents work
Where have agents been successfully deployed?
What challenges need to be considered
Gabriel will present design considerations in Agentic AI systems in order to get started working with agents.
Theo Winter, Lead Software Architect, and Stefan Bösch, Software Engineer, will share their approach to using AI in a development project, present insights on a software lifecycle with AI & automation, and show how coding with AI is changing the game. Complemented with use-cases, this session will provide room for Q&A.
