Zühlke is revamping its management team for the new year by welcoming Head of Finance & Management Accounting Nina Przybyla and Head of People & Culture Annina Scheidegger to the executive board. Departing the executive board will be Jürgen Pronebner, who has chosen to step down to focus on his role as Head of the Health Business Unit in Germany.

“Finance & Management Accounting are a key pillar of our growth strategy”

Nina Przybyla joined Zühlke in 2005 and has been heavily involved in building the Finance & Management Accounting team in Germany. A business administration graduate, prior to joining Zühlke she worked for a number of companies in various roles at the interface between finance and human resources. Since 2019, she has been a Zühlke Group partner and is responsible for implementing the group-wide diversity, equity and inclusion initiative in Germany.

Zühlke Germany CEO Ernst Ellmer commented, “I am very pleased that through Nina this key topic will be even more strongly championed during future board discussions. Nina has established Finance & Management Accounting as a key pillar of our growth strategy. It’s only natural, therefore, that she should in future contribute more directly to strategic decision-making as a member of the management team.”

New, dual cross-border People & Culture role

In addition to her existing role, from January 1, 2023, Annina Scheidegger takes on the role of Head of People & Culture in Germany and also joins the German executive board. Scheidegger joined Zühlke Switzerland in 2016. She has been Head of People & Culture in Switzerland since 2022, and as such is also a member of the Swiss executive board. A law graduate, before joining Zühlke she worked in various HR roles at Accenture and KPMG.

“The field of People & Culture is a key factor for ensuring that we are successful in achieving our goals. Annina is doing some very impressive work in Switzerland and has set new standards in professionalising our P&C processes and in areas including global mobility and employee benefits. We are delighted that she has agreed to additionally take on this role in Germany. Her new dual role is a great opportunity for us to grow even closer together and better exploit our synergies,” notes Ellmer.

Jürgen Pronebner to step down from the executive board

Jürgen Pronebner joined Zühlke in 2000, shortly after the launch of our German subsidiary. He has been part of the management team since 2006, most recently with responsibility for markets and sales. He has combined this responsibility with his role as Head of the Health Business Unit.

As Ernst Ellmer notes, “Zühlke’s success in Germany is to a large extent also Jürgen’s success. We are of course sorry to lose him from the management team, but we respect his desire to take a step back professionally and are pleased that he will continue to provide us with his full support. ”Jürgen Pronebner’s responsibilities as Managing Director Markets and Executive Sponsor of Sales Excellence Practice will pass to Michael Doelle.
