New ways of joining Zühlke Hong Kong

This is an unprecedented time in our history. As we see more creative ways remote and virtual activities are taking over our usual social routines, we hope to address some frequent questions we hear from our candidates.

Supporting jobseekers and our employees

This is an unprecedented time in our history. Few of us could have imagined a global pandemic like this affecting the health of our loved ones, the businesses we rely upon, the health of the global economy, and the way we live our daily lives worldwide.

On this journey new to all, we continue to support and sustain our employees, our customers and our partners. As we continue to navigate through these new, evolving waters, we want to take the time and let you know that our commitment at Zuhlke remains strong as ever.

Our customers and our team of staff remain our priority, always. As we see more creative ways remote and virtual activities are taking over our usual social routines, we hope to address some frequent questions we hear from our candidates.

Let’s hear from our recruiting specialist in Asia, Aimen Waseem, as she answers some of your most frequently asked questions.

Should I apply to Zühlke in the current situation?

The current situation has definitely affected our everyday life and changed it quite a bit, however, Zühlke looks positively into the future. We want to continue to fill particular positions and are looking forward to receiving applications.
We have switched our entire job interview process to be fully remote via phone and video meetings. You can find a few tips on remote job interviewing below.
On Careers you can easily find our current job openings, filter them by location, function and experience level, and apply to those which suit your professional interest. We look forward to hearing from you!

How long does it take until I receive feedback on my application? Does it currently take longer than usual?

We all work from our home offices and are able to provide you with feedback on your application within a short period of time as usual.

Exchanging news and thoughts virtually on a regular basis is important now, as we are missing the usual social interaction points. This may be awkward at first as it’s something new for some of us. Let’s laugh and learn together and get through this challenge even stronger.

Staying more connected than ever during these times

Working from Home is both a great opportunity and a challenge. It’s an unfamiliar situation for many and we all need the time to adapt and room to breathe. It is important to find time for yourself regularly where you can check out for a short breather. Everyone needs breaks for fresh thoughts and to recharge.

During these times, how do we come together as a community in supporting our employees and keep our culture going?

Here are some activities which we have been doing weekly to ensure that we are kept updated of what is happening at work or life!

Together, with many meters apart between us, we can get through this. Until then, stay home, stay safe, and healthy every day!

Daily morning coffee to kickstart your day at work with your team.

Virtual fitness activities like remote yoga and social gaming nights like Boardgames Nights.
