Stability thanks to an agile development approach

Swisscom’s Enterprise Cloud 1 delivers infrastructure from the cloud. Swisscom has handed over the management of its legacy platform to Zühlke in order to focus on building the Enterprise Service Cloud successor platform.

Insight in brief

The remaining customers should experience a seamless migration to the Enterprise Service Cloud, which means guaranteeing quality, stability and security on the legacy platform until all customers have been migrated and the Enterprise Cloud 1 decommissioned.

Zühlke’s team of developers and business analysts located in Zurich and Belgrade is now taking over the platform and its highly complex ecosystem. The team is responsible for keeping the platform stable, secure and scalable for the next two and a half years, until it has been completely decommissioned.

An agile development approach and high levels of flexibility and quality will enable Swisscom to optimally fulfil the high expectations of the platform’s remaining customers until the migration to the new platform has been completed. By combining their expertise, Zühlke and Swisscom guarantee an outstanding experience for their end customers. Despite significant uncertainties, Zühlke is taking on responsibility in the complex application landscape, and will accompany the project until the phase-out of the Enterprise Cloud 1.
