The local controlling ensures that Group-wide planning and cost accounting principles are applied correctly and that local specialties are considered. It supports the leadership team in setting goals, consolidating the sub-plans into an overall plan, tracking the achievement of goals, and monitoring the measures that should lead to an improvement in the achievement of our goals. It performs the calculations and postings necessary within the framework of cost accounting. 

Your job will include: 

  • You will act as business partner for the executive board, prepare a monthly reporting and forecasting and make if needed deep dives into key figures and create individual analyses and reports on that basis 
  • You will ensure an adequate project and service controlling and support the business and services heads with needed key figures 
  • Additionally, cost accounting postings for employee provisions, internal services cost allocations and POC post-ings for projects in progress is part of the task spectrum 
  • Besides, you are responsible for the moderation and preparation of the local rolling forecast processes according to group specifications, including the processing of planning data in the systems 
  • And finally, it is your task to moderate and process the local risk assessment according to the specifications of Group Controlling.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Basic studies in business administration (business economics, finance, or business informatics) 
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance department 
  • Experience in the professional service provider environment (understanding of service provider business models and their impact on the financial model of a company) 
  • Very good analytical skills, ability to think interconnected and assertive 
  • Excellent MS Office (Excel, Power Point) skills 
  • Basic knowledge of data management BI tools and EPR (Vertec, SAP) 
  • Ability to work independently and against tight deadlines 
  • Strong communication abilities (written and spoken) and a high team orientation 
  • Strong English communication skills
