We are looking for innovative and eager to learn Java Engineers to join a company with over 50 years of tradition.  
Your role 
  • Technical leadership in collaboration with stakeholders 
  • Guide our clients towards a successful technical solution of their challenges 
  • Coaching/mentoring colleagues and leading full project team(s)
  • Making architectural decisions and governing architecture based on functional and non-functional requirements
  • Responsibility for the whole system and integration points
  • Share know-how in formal and informal settings (e.g., training courses, coaching, mentoring)  
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the implementation of Zühlke strategic projects 
  • Delivering high-quality solutions through application of good coding and testing practices 

What kind of colleague are we looking for?

Having a technical related degree and around 8 years of relevant experience in software development  

As for technical expertise, we are looking for a professional with:   
  • Strong Java technical skills  
  • OOP concepts  
  • Familiarity with a wide range of frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot
  • Understanding of some system structures: onion, hexagonal, DDD, distributed systems…
  • Understanding of databases: relational, document or NoSQL
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/VueJs) 
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Fluency in English   
  • Profound understanding of development practices: testing pyramid, source control, CI/CD, release strategies, DevOps mindset.
