Lead Cloud (DevOps) Engineer

The Role.

Make an impact. Partnering with stakeholders from a wide range of industries, you create software solutions that fit the needs of the client's domain and business. In these complex organizations, you take a holistic view, integrating the required technical, organizational and business aspects, creating value with a customer-centric approach.

Build the right competencies. As a Lead Cloud engineer you will develop and shape our cloud offering and capabilities. Working with the market team and leadership, you will support the skill development of fellow engineers in cloud technologies and architecture.

Passion for the craft. You will be responsible for designing IT architecture, building solutions, and consulting our customers strategically. As an expert in the field, you strive to uplift teams by using the right methodologies and technology tools. You enjoy working in agile software teams to sustainably deliver high quality from day 1.

Thought leadership. In close collaboration with leadership, you follow trends and recent technology development, making sure Zuhlke's portfolio remains close to the pulse of the market. You will support the ongoing growth of Zuhlke Asia in activities ranging from operational to strategic. 

Your Talent.

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of work experience with Cloud technologies, working with different methodologies, architectures and industries
• Hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and implementing solutions in cloud environments like GCP, Azure, and AWS
• Demonstrated experience as an architect/lead engineer in large infrastructure projects and deployments in high availability environments
• Expert knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, containers, infrastructure as code)
• Good understanding of scalability, load testing & site reliability
• Motivation to be a thought leader to support Zuhlke’s capability development and the upskilling of the team
• Ability to interface and coordinate between business and technical stakeholders on a strategic level  
• Strong understanding and appreciation of agile methodologies
• Working proficiency in written and spoken English language
• Experience in leading teams and in contributing to the overall strategy and direction of a project is a plus
