How you will make an impact What is important to us

As a Key Account Manager, you are responsible for the systematic acquisition and continuous development of specifically selected companies in the Swiss Banking industry. Your focus is on major Private- and Retail Banks. Our goal is to sustainably expand the existing customer base and also attract new customers in the medium term. You will manage customers with significant growth potential as a Key Account Manager in the long term. Additionally, you proactively assist the teams responsible for developing other customers in these industries.

  • Discovering – You lead the team to delve deeply into the needs and challenges of our customers. You create a shared, thorough understanding of the company, its organization, current situation, strategies, goals, and its ecosystem.
  • Connecting – You orchestrate the building and maintenance of strong relationships with key stakeholders, aiming to deeply understand their individual needs and provide valuable insights. You leverage these connections to gather information and identify opportunities.
  • Accompanying - You are perceived by our customers as a reliable companion, guiding them through solution-oriented consulting, proposal creation, negotiation, and ultimately a successful closing.
  • Inspiring – You utilize your knowledge of the market, trends, and innovations to create value for our conversation partners, inspire them, and generate interest in our services. You empower our team with your expertise and engage experts strategically to position Zühlke as a trusted advisor.
What is important to us
  • Banking know-how – You possess a deep understanding of the needs and challenges, as well of the processes of Private- and Retail Banks. Ideally you have worked for a bank before.
  • Proficient in consultative selling – You bring experience in selling complex services in the IT engineering environment and can demonstrate a track record of successfully closing complex sales. Ideally you have an affinity to social selling.
  • Tech-savvy – You have a keen interest in technology and implementation-related issues in the banking industry.
  • Proficient in complex sales – You bring extensive experience in consultative selling of ICT services, showcasing a proven track record of winning complex sales over several years.
  • Fluent Communication in German and English – You are proficient in both written and spoken communication.
  • University Degree - You hold a degree in technology or a related field.
You can't cover everything? No problem. We don't expect you to be able to do everything, but rather to apply your knowledge in a targeted manner and to work with your colleagues and clients on an equal footing. Specialized knowledge is just as important as openness and last but not least your ability and interest in learning and applying new things.
