Based in Vienna, as the Head of the Digital Experience Practice for Zühlke Austria, you will have a multi-faceted and critical role in people leadership and in ensuring delivery excellence in our projects.

Our Digital Experience practice leverages the expertise of our talented specialists in areas from web and mobile development through to business analysis and user experience, collaborating as a whole to craft the most engaging digital experience for our clients.  

Your Role 

The role will involve leading the practice unit of ‘Digital Experience’, building competencies, helping achieve delivery excellence for our clients & contribute towards Zühlke Austria’s growth.

More about your impact 

Lead the practice  
  • As a Head of Practice, you will be responsible for the leadership, line management, and skill development of your practice’s staff, which comprises of web/mobile engineers, architects and UX specialists.
Build right competencies  
  • Partnering with the Market Teams with your inputs into Technology trends, you will shape your practice’s offerings and develop your practice’s methodological, process and technology portfolio according to the go-to-market strategy.  
Help drive Zühlke Austria‘s growth  
  • You will drive the strategy for thought leadership within your Practice and develop technology focused offerings that can enhance our visibility in the Market and our Business footprint. 
  • You are still actively involved in the delivery of software projects and strengthen the team through your expertise. 
  • You and your Practice will be actively involved in Presales activities and provide solutions in RFPs, Demos, Proof of Concepts etc.
  • In close collaboration with the Regional Director, you will assign appropriate staff to projects and engagements, ensure a high level of utilization within your practice, and agree on qualitative and quantitative growth targets. 
  • As part of the leadership team, you will support the ongoing growth of Zühlke Austria. At the same time, you will be empowered to create and maintain an environment that fosters Zuhlke’s values and culture that the staff enjoys.

What you should offer 
  • You have experience being in a position of line management and/or commercial responsibility in IT, software engineering, or IT consultancy.
  • You have very good knowledge of UX and CX Topics.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest and grasp of Technology trends and in growing and promoting Thought leadership.
  • You have good knowledge of the solution and service business in a distributed and international context.
  • You have good knowledge of software engineering and consulting methodologies and approaches. You also have a good overview of technology developments and required skills in tech, especially in IT.
  • You are an effective team worker with very strong leadership and communication skills.
  • You have experience in recruitment, succession planning, and retention management.
  • You have a passion for continuously improving yourself and for developing high-performing teams and individuals. 
  • You are equally strong in driving day-to-day operations as well as in thinking ahead, shaping the future of your practice and the whole company.
  • You speak German fluently and have a very good command of the English language.

An attractive salary package well above the collectively agreed minimum basic salary (according to the IT-KV, with classification ST2/Regel: EUR 3.730 gross/month, with ST2/Erfahrung: EUR 4.404 gross/month).
