This is where you come in.

Your Job
  • You take on the responsibility and technical leadership of customer projects in a wide variety of industries (defining methodological approach, developing use cases with customers, advising customers on technical topics, as well as presenting and explaining results).
  • Thanks to your thought leadership and your passion for Data Science topics, you inspire our customers for the field of Machine Learning.
  • You lead the development of Machine Learning solutions or develop them independently: data preparation, modelling, method selection, evaluation, implementation.
  • You evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of Machine Learning solutions.
  • You operationalize successful prototypes in collaboration with data platform architects and data engineers.
  • You bring your machine learning expertise to the Zühlke team and support our juniors in their further development.
  • You contribute to the further development of our AI & Data Practice and actively support the acquisition of customer projects.
  • You represent Zühlke AI & Data through technical presentations at national conferences.

Your Talent
  • You have professional/research experience in the field of Machine Learning after graduation. It is an advantage if you already have experience in implementing projects in the industry and work experience in the service business.
  • You bring solid and broad knowledge in Machine Learning, in-depth knowledge in an application domain (e.g. Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision) and good knowledge in statistics.
  • You are proficient in the Python Machine Learning stack, have experience in software development and are familiar with the concepts of database systems (relational/NoSQL).
  • You are familiar with one of the major cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure) and understand the concepts of training and operationalizing machine learning solutions (e.g. MLOps, containerization, experiment tracking, data versioning).
  • Thanks to your open and communicative personality, you feel comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and can work in a customer-oriented way, from the idea to the successful implementation of a solution.
  • You have a Master’s degree (ETH, Uni) in Computer Science or a comparable education (e.g. Mathematics). A PhD in a machine learning related field is a plus.
  • Very good English skills complete your profile. Good German language skills are a plus.
