How you’ll spend your time 

As a Software Architect with focus on Cloud at Zühlke, you will accompany our customers on their way into the digital future in the cloud. Starting with strategic consulting, through the creation of innovative and future-proof cloud architectures, to the technical leadership of our interdisciplinary development teams to guarantee successful implementation and productive operation.
Since our customers come from a wide range of industries such as medicine, pharmaceuticals, industry or enterprise, you get to know new domains and their specific challenges in every project and adapt your consulting and solutions to them.

You want to make a difference - whether your clients are modernising their application landscape, moving to the cloud or transforming into a data-driven organisation, you combine your experience in software development with your ability to execute cloud strategies to help our clients create value.

You never lose sight of the big picture - when leading interdisciplinary teams, you focus on an abstract view of structures, processes and stakeholders and collaborate with your colleagues from digital consulting, solution- or enterprise architecture on specific technical or methodological issues.

You have a growth mindset - building on an extensive education programme, you continuously keep up to date with the latest technologies and development practices and apply them in projects to expand your expertise.

What is important to us

• After your studies, you have already gained several years of professional experience in software development and architecture in the cloud environment (AWS/ Azure/ GCP).
• You have solid experience in your programming language and the common tools and know how to apply software design principles and integration patterns on-premise and in the cloud.
• You have experience with CI/CD and in the operation of fail-safe and highly available cloud applications.
• You have strong communication skills and appreciate an open and trusting exchange with your team and your customer.
• You communicate confidently in English and have a good knowledge of German
