What your job will involve?
  • Your hunter mentality will help you win new customers for Zühlke and develop our established market position further, using creative sales strategies, active market development and your love of networking.
  • You will identify and realize sales opportunities for Zühlke by recognising market requirements and actively participating in the continual development of our portfolio.
  • Ongoing dialogue with the decision makers among our customers and with market experts will help you recognise trends and innovations early on and create promising opportunities by introducing them for our accounts.
  • You will accompany our customers through the entire sales cycle, from solution-oriented advice, quote preparation and negotiation, through to after-sales activities.
  • Together with engagement managers, you will be responsible for the business side of quotations, as well as initial contract negotiation.
  • You will also be involved in planning the in-house events, trade fair appearances and conferences that give customers a better insight into our work
  • It is important to visit our customers on site to convince them of the benefits of our services, so business trips will also be a part of your job.

What should you offer:
  • At least 1–2 years of professional experience in the area of business development within a complex IT environment with an emphasis on consulting.
  • You have studied business and economics with a focus on (business) information technology, business informatics, business engineering, or a technical/scientific discipline with a further qualification in business and economics.
  • Initial experience in sales of services and complex solutions, ideally in the industrial, consumer goods, finance or building technology sector.
  • Knowledge of development and implementation of successful marketing and sales strategies, as well as a good instinct for customer needs and creativity when it comes to determining customer enquiries.
  • Basic legal knowledge and the capacity to evaluate complex service contracts and work contracts are advantages.
