Regional Managing Director FS (APAC)


The Opportunity.

Zuhlke APAC  is in an exciting phase of growth. Having seen over 50 years of success in Europe, Zuhlke has brought its top-of-the-line offerings to Singapore and Hong Kong. The Regional Managing Director Financial Services Industry (FSI) and Insurance plays a critical role in ensuring Zuhlke succeeds in translating its well-known, trusted, and highly reputable name from Europe to Singapore, Hong Kong, and the wider South East Asia region.

As the Regional Managing Director FSI, reporting directly to the Zuhlke Group Chief FSI Officer and CEO APAC, you are leading the regional Market Unit FSI and responsible for driving the long-term growth and business contributions of the FSI sector in APAC. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of the FSI sector and the local landscape, you expand the regional client portfolio, drive revenue growth and manage the profitability of the regional Market Unit.

You are highly customer-oriented and use your exceptional communication skills to build and nurture strong, long-lasting partnerships with corporate clients. With your experience of the APAC market you lead a team of Business Development, Account and Engagement Manager and advise the larger Zuhlke group in defining and executing the regional market development, sales and delivery strategy.

Together with your team you build a comprehensive profile of client organization decision makers and seek to get visibility and audience "up" and "across" the client organization. At the same time, you are a team player who seeks input and collaboration from colleagues to develop Zuhlke’s solution and service portfolio in the group with a focus in APAC.

You enjoy being in a dynamic role where you juggle between staying active in building relationships to create new opportunities for us to pursue, while at the same time following up and assessing current leads, to ensure the potential partnership is a good match for both parties.

Your Talent.

  • You have more than 15 years of experience within key aspects of business development, sales, and account leadership. You are an expert and are up-to-date on a wide spectrum of B2B sales methodologies.
  • You have a solid and proven network In the FSI and the Insurance sector in APAC specifically.
  • You have built and led service businesses and sold professional services in FSI and the Insurance sector.
  • You have a proven track record for bringing in new business. You are known for your mixed approach to combine short-term achievements with a long-term focus on securing strategic partnerships.
  • You have a deep understanding of the APAC market and are able to back that up with strong connections in the local business network in the FSI and Insurance domain (having other domain networks is not required but advantageous).
  • You have experience in leading a team and a track record of creating high-performing teams, including acting as a role model for organization culture carrier.
  • You are exceptional in your ability to quickly develop strong, trusted relationships. You are highly skilled in adapting your communication style and you are genuinely interested and curious about our customers and their needs.
  • Your communication skills in English are excellent (Mandarin and Cantonese would be advantageous).
  • You place professional integrity above all else. Your personal values drive you to achieve stretch goals yet keep you well-balanced, constantly looking out for the best interests of all parties.
  • You demonstrate a genuine interest in the technology field. Having professional experience in software engineering and consulting is not a must, but is highly preferable.
  • You are an active member of the professional community. You can be found regularly at networking events and are always interested in meeting new people.
  • You hold a university degree, preferably
