Léman Micro Devices SA (LMD) will provide a miniature sensor module, small enough to easily integrate in smartphones, together with associated apps and services. This will enable future mobile devices to measure all five "Vital Signs" (blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, respiration rate and blood oxygen) to medical accuracy.

Zühlke Ventures and Start Angel Network are represented on LMD’s Board. Erich Platzer, from SAN, says “We welcome this exciting opportunity for our network of experienced investors to contribute funding and expertise to the growth of this exciting company”. Patrick Griss from Zühlke Ventures adds “With its experienced management team and solid IP, Leman Micro Devices responds to the need for medical data in the fast growing mobile health market.
