A liaison engineer from the nearshore partner was seconded to the customer’s premises, ensuring optimal communication between the partner and the client’s development teams. The nearshoring partner managed the development team and took care of the detailed software specification, which was approved by the customer before implementation. Using a methodical and very tightly scheduled process, Zühlke evaluated a nearshoring partner that was in the position to implement the cooperation model, suited the client, and possessed the necessary skills and development tools. During the preparation phase and while setting up the cooperation with the new partner, the customer’s employees received intensive coaching. This ensured that the processes and methods for requirements engineering, test planning, test execution and quality assurance continued to develop and complied with the new requirements.
