The Swiss market leader in online data safes DSwiss AG continues to go from strength to strength. Zühlke Ventures has secured a new round of funding for the Swiss company, enabling DSwiss AG to start the new financial year with an additional 1.5 million Swiss francs in operating capital. The company plans to use the additional funds to underpin further expansion, to meet demand for even better security and to help its customers confront growing threats to their online privacy.
Zühlke Ventures, which has been a major shareholder in DSwiss AG since 2011, is excited to be supporting DSwiss in moving forward into the future. The additional capital has been provided by both existing and new investors. Lead investors are Zühlke Ventures and Zürcher Kantonalbank, with additional investment from Centralway.
The existing DSwiss board has also been strengthened by the appointment of Roland Zeller, founder of online travel portal travel.ch. The highly experienced internet pioneer joins Walter Hürsch, Executive Partner at Zühlke Ventures, and Lukas von Känel. «We are excited about this expansion», commented Chairman of the Board, Walter Hürsch. «His many years of experience in the development and growth of internet services make Roland Zeller a welcome addition to our team.»
