Zühlke Ventures specialises in the financing and acceleration of technology start-ups. We work on an equal footing with the start-up team and provide complementary know-how and entrepreneurial commitment at an early stage.
We help the team to clear the hurdles in its path: significant financing requirements, technological challenges and a complex market environment.
In this respect, we can draw upon the experience of a network with extensive technological and management expertise, as we are a fully-owned subsidiary of the Zühlke Group.

Investment Focus
Zühlke Ventures invests in highly dynamic technology start-ups that have good market potential. Our target markets are German-speaking Europe and Great Britain.
For us to invest in a start-up, it must have an innovative high-tech product. Start-ups can then enjoy the benefits of our experience in product development, software engineering and management. We invest in each start-up at an early stage. This means we can use all our engineering expertise and thereby help cut the time to market considerably.
We are investors and co-entrepreneurs at the same time. As active business partners, we undertake to provide each start-up with all our technological, strategic and operational expertise.
We see ourselves quite clearly as a complement to the start-up team and we are happy to rely on their corporate management skills. We don’t try to acquire a majority holding, nor do we want to take on any operational posts.
We invest sums of between 200,000 and 1 million Swiss francs per start-up. For larger investments and subsequent financing, we enable companies to access an established network of possible co-investors.
